Things to check before calling for assistance:
We love our customers and we are readily available to dispatch the first available tow in the event of an emergency, but to save boat owners precious time on the water, here are some things to check on your vessel before calling for assistance. You may be able to get back and running in no time at all!
Check to ensure kill switch lanyard next to the key is clipped into the kill switch
Check to see if engine is in gear. The engine will not start if its in gear.
If you have a fuel priming bulb, (mostly on outboard engines) check to see if it is hard and full of fuel.
Check battery switches to ensure they are in the on position and ensure wire connections to battery are tight.
